Do not involve the United Kingdom in military action against Iran
The UK Government should commit to not participating in military action against Iran, except in direct defence of the United Kingdom or its territories, and should require a full Parliamentary vote before any involvement in such a conflict.

Background
Escalation in the Middle East risks drawing the UK into another war. Past interventions caused instability and humanitarian crises. The UK should prioritise diplomacy and require a Parliamentary vote before any military action against Iran.
