Background
Currently political parties propose their manifesto in which they outline what their stance is on many state issues, clarifying what actions they would take if successfully elected.
Manifestos are the key factor to winning votes to gain power. However, political parties are under no obligation to keep to their promises and the majority of the time we see manifesto pledges broken. By becoming a legally binding document, this will prevent any future deliberately misleading manifesto’s.
