Where we should be doing everything in our power not to contribute excessively to climate change - we are without hesitation. Land clearing for construction projects leads to the loss of natural habitats & ecosystems. The extraction of materials like sand & gravel can also damage landscapes and ecosystems. Construction noise and traffic can disrupt wildlife and negatively impact biodiversity.
