Defund the BBC
Their licencing model is outdated, unfair and no longer relevant to todays media content and demand. Make the BBC a subscription service paid for ONLY by individuals who are happy to pay for the service.

Background
The government must ensure that the BBC is NEVER funded by stealth taxation for example, by increasing council tax or by some other means.
The BBC have enough resources and people-owned assets to make a go at providing a decent subscription service to compete with others. This will provide a level playing field and remove any bias the BBC may have within or from governmental pressure.
