Background
On 16 March 2026, Pakistan's bombing of the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital in Kabul killed hundreds of civilians. This bombing of a medical facility could be a potential war crime. Afghans suffer under an unelected regime, historically empowered by Pakistan, while facing alleged state-sponsored aggression from them. We believe Pakistan cannot claim to fight terrorism while bombing hospitals and forcibly deporting refugees. The UK should ensure tangible consequences for these actions, not just words.
