We understand that you are concerned about low and middle income earners but we are not sure what changes you would like to see. You could start a new petition setting out clearly what changes you would like to happen. Or you could sign petitions we already have open. Background
The planned budget changes will increase tax further for many working people BUT still find the money to increase welfare payments.
Recent reports suggest that soon 1 in 4 workers in full time jobs would be better off staying at home on benefits - often by thousands (and even tens of thousands) of pounds.
This is madness !
Our tax and welfare systems have to show people that their work is valued and it has to be financially worth working - if not, more and more will choose to stop.
