PETITIONRejectedPetition · petition.parliament.uk
All petitions that reach over 1 million signatures must go to public vote.
Petitions are there to give the public a voice, and so should be properly considered by the public, via a democratic vote. When 1 million+ people express concerns via petition, then it should be taken to the public to judge. The final decision should not be made by politicians, but by the public.

Background
This government and the 2 governments before it, have made decisions without considering public mood or opinion, but by ignoring us and doing as they please. This has led to the public being ignored
The public petition the government for change and to express their voice. But instead of doing their job by doing as the public is asking (which is their job), they shut down our concerns and tell us we're wrong. They then proceed against public wishes with their plan.
