An independent review body for miscarriages of justice involving racial bias.
We call on the UK Government to establish an independent body to review criminal convictions where credible evidence suggests racial bias, discrimination, or unequal treatment may have contributed to a miscarriage of justice.

Background
Justice must be equal for all. Where racism may have influenced investigations, prosecutions, court decisions, or sentencing, there must be an independent route to review convictions.
This is in the public interest because racial injustice damages trust in the courts, harms communities, and risks innocent people remaining wrongfully convicted. An independent review body would improve accountability, restore confidence, and help prevent future miscarriages of justice.
