Background
We want subsections 1(2) and 2(2) removed so that even if people lived together in the same household the office of pet abduction is still committed is taken by one of those people. At present if the above happens it is a civil matter not criminal. Not everybody has money for civil action & it can be a lengthy process. We believe abusive partners/family are using this to their advantage.
