Allow automatic divorce after fleeing domestic violence & review processes
If you flee a domestic violence relationship - man or woman - and you are married, you should automatically be granted a divorce. Review the process to address any barriers, risks and trauma which can be faced by survivors as they navigate divorce proceedings.

Background
When fleeing a domestic violence relationship to safety, the victim shouldn’t have to worry about contact with their abuser and putting themselves at risk. In many cases victims have restraining orders in place due to the domestic violence and the safety of themselves and their children. There should be no circumstances in which victims have to find their abuser is and risk disclosing any personal information.
Improve protection for victims: automatically grant a divorce when there is DV.
