Last fetched 03 May 2026 · gov.uk
Detail
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is inviting comments on whether to review the ‘Rough’ undertakings, following a request from Centrica Storage Ltd (CSL) and Centrica plc to vary them. The undertakings were given in 2003 in relation to Centrica plc’s acquisition of Dynegy Storage Ltd and Dynegy Onshore Processing UK Ltd, and were last reviewed by the Competition Commission in 2011.
CSL and Centrica, by reason of a change of circumstances, are now seeking a variation to the undertakings. The CMA is considering whether to launch a review under paragraph 16 of Schedule 24 to the Enterprise Act 2002.
