Environment Agency charging proposals 2014

We are required to consult formally on our charging proposals for our environmental permitting, abstraction and EU emissions trading schemes.

We welcome views from charge-payers, trade associations, government and other interested parties. All responses are integral to our subsequent submission of final proposals to government for approval. Responses to our proposals will form an integral element to our submission to the Secretary of State.

If approved our new charges will take effect from 1 April 2014.
