Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2015 draft legislation
Consultation on remaining AFPS 15 legislation which was not available during the earlier period of consultation. Individuals and stakeholders are invited to review and comment.
The Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2015 will be introduced on 1 April 2015. The MOD sought views on the regulations during April to May 2014 and the consultation has re-opened to invite comments on transfers (Part 8), valuation and cost cap (Part 9) and re-employment after ill-health awards (Part 10) from the Main Scheme Regulations and resettlement grants from the EDP Regulations. Responses regarding these specific points are invited from service personnel, ex-service personnel, service families, reserve forces or other interested parties.
Please see related information for details about the scheme which may prove useful when reviewing and interpreting the regulations. Further information can also be found on the AFPS 15 page.
Please note that both sets of regulations are now entitled ‘2014 regulations’ although they do no take effect until 1 April 2015. This is because the regulations are being laid in Parliament in 2014, it does not effect the introduction of the scheme which will still be known as AFPS 15.
Ways to respondIn order to participate in the consultation, please complete the questionnaire and email it to dcdspers-pcv-fafpsmailbox@mod.uk
