Consultation on draft regulations for the current 2008 Local Government Pension Scheme and the new Scheme to come into force in April 2014.

Detail

This consultation commences a second period of statutory consultation on the new Local Government Pension Scheme which will come into effect from 1 April 2014 and will cover draft regulations on membership, contributions and benefits, transitional provisions and miscellaneous provisions.

Further consultation exercises covering the remainder of the new scheme will follow shortly, including a separate consultation on councillor access.
