Tadcaster flood scheme: consultation

The Environment Agency and partners are working together to improve the current flood defences to reduce flood risk to homes and businesses in Tadcaster.

There are also a number of other important benefits such as improving biodiversity and creating connections with wildlife.

The project team would like to hear your views on the scheme to help inform the design and construction.

After this consultation, the Environment Agency will determine the final design for the scheme. This will take into account public opinion. The final design is scheduled for submission for planning approval in Summer 2023.
