Changes to the publication of abortion statistics in England and Wales

The Department of Health proposed changes to the way it publishes abortion statistics for England and Wales and sought views from commissioners, clinicians, academics, other government departments and special interest groups.

The aim of the consultation was to ensure that the abortion statistics remain relevant and useful to users.
