Detail
Summary

This consultation seeks views on the proposals for new regulations that will require certain water and sewerage infrastructure projects to be put out to competitive tender by English water and sewerage companies (undertakers).

The purpose of  the regulations is to ensure that customers obtain value for money from high risk infrastructure projects that are of a size or complexity that might threaten the ability of an undertaker to continue to provide services to its customers if they had to deliver the infrastructure under the existing regime.

The consultation is aimed at water and sewerage companies in England.
