Presents the Office of Rail and Road's preferred options for Network Rail’s possessions and train performance regimes during price control period 7.
The Office of Rail and Road’s (ORR) has reviewed Network Rail’s possessions and performance regimes. The Schedules 4 and 8 regimes compensate train operators and provide financial incentives arising from planned and unplanned service disruption.
ORR sought feedback on its preferred options for the regimes, putting forward a small number of proportionate changes.
Partial consultation outcomeOn 20 October 2022, the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) published the conclusions on its review of the frameworks for Schedules 4 and 8 in control period 7 (CP7).
ORR has also published consultation questions on outstanding matters.
