This consultation provides further detail about how Ofsted will fulfil its role as the quality assurance body for the Online Education Accreditation Scheme and asks several questions about our plans. Your feedback will help us to improve our plans and our draft handbook before the launch of the scheme in 2022.
In particular we are seeking views on our proposals for:
- the suitability checks we plan to carry out
- whose suitability we plan to check
- assessing the quality of leadership in online providers
- assessing methods of delivering online education
- assessing cybersecurity arrangements in online providers
