Proposal for the recovery of costs by the Drinking Water Inspectorate

Defra is proposing to implement a charging scheme to enable the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) to recover the cost of regulatory work undertaken on behalf of the water industry. This informal consultation provided the water industry, and any organisation or individual who may have an interest, to comment on the proposed implementation of the scheme.
