How HMRC propose to verify Scotch whisky

The consultation sought comment from Scotch whisky producers involved in any of the five identified production processes (fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending and bottling/labelling). Comments were sought on how HMRC should verify the GI of brands, recover associated costs and issue certificates of verification.
