Bovine TB cattle control measures: tackling cattle-to-cattle transmission

We want to know what you think about our proposals to strengthen cattle control measures. In particular, we want to hear your views on:

• whether cattle moving between Sole Occupancy Authority (SOA) premises should be tested if the distance is more than 10 miles and any impacts this change would have on farm businesses;
• whether cattle keepers should be legally required to provide the TB history of their herd when selling stock; and
• compulsory post-movement testing of cattle moved from annual testing areas in England and Wales to herds in the Low Risk Area of England
