Network Rail has carried out an assessment of whether retaining the existing Rochester railway station is value for money. It has concluded that retaining the current station is not appropriate given the investment in a new station and other infrastructure enhancements in the area.

The consultation seeks your views on proposals to close the existing Rochester railway station once the new station is commissioned.
