Approved Tachograph Centres (ATCs) install, calibrate and inspect tachographs, which record information about driving time, speed and distance.
This consultation seeks views on:
- stopping the requirement for ATCs to offer analogue tachograph calibration
- allowing smaller sites to be used
- making changes to streamline the ATC manual
The changes are intended to remove unnecessary burden on centres, so they can improve the service they offer to their customers.
