Improving dentistry

We want to hear views from the dental profession and wider dental community about how we should reform current dental contracts to enable easier access and improve the nation’s oral health.

Papers 2, 3 and 4 contain a series of questions and a link to a feedback form.

During the financial year 2015 to 2016 we will pilot small scale models of possible new dental systems.

We are already testing a number of ideas that could form part of a new system.

Through around 90 pilot exercises we are testing a new clinical approach, measurement of quality and outcomes and remuneration.
