CCUS transport and storage Revenue Support Agreement counterparty

This consultation sets out regulatory proposals relating to the carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS) transport and storage business model, including:

• Revenue Support Agreement counterparty
• counterparty duties
• establishment of a public register of Revenue Support Agreements

This will establish details regarding:

• the direction to offer to contract: the process by which the Secretary of State may direct a counterparty to offer to contract and the duties the counterparty must carry out
• information publication: requirements for certain information about contracts and projects must be published

We expect the consultation to be of particular interest to:

• transport and storage developers and investors
• others who would be directly affected by the proposals for the revenue support regulations
