The Pension Protection Fund and Occupational Pension Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2013

This consultation asks for views on changes to regulations on the Pension Protection Fund.

The regulations cover areas such as the time limit for applying for a valuation review, members having the option to take their compensation early or late and the Pension Protection Fund being able to discharge low value money purchase pots where the members are aged 60 or over.

We have merged all the amendments into one set of Occupational and Stakeholder Pension Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2013, which come into force on 6 April 2013.

The consultation is primarily aimed at employers, pension scheme administrators, trustees and managers. Comments are also welcomed from the wider public.
