Great Western franchise replacement consultation

This consultation document sought views from stakeholders on the specification that will be provided to shortlisted bidders for the next Great Western franchise.

The next Great Western franchise is due to commence in April 2013 and will be based on the services presently operated by First Great Western (FGW) with a transfer of services to the Crossrail operator at a later point.
