Detail
The government has launched a consultation to hear views on when to implement the repeal of section 52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (CDPA) 1988. The repeal of section 52 of the CDPA will remove a permitted act in law that reduces the term of copyright protection for artistic works that have been industrially manufactured.
This consultation invites views and seeks evidence on the potential impact of the government’s proposal to implement the repeal on 6 April 2018.
