Habitats and Wild Birds Directives: Simplification of guidance in England

Summary

Defra seeks your views on two of the main guidance simplification measures from the recent Habitats and Wild Birds Directive Implementation Review:

1. A stocktake of the large body of existing guidance, with a view to propose how it should be rationalised by March 2013
2. Draft new “overarching guidance” providing an overview of the sites and species requirements of the Directives.
