Industrial emissions: proposed UK Best Available Techniques

We are seeking views on new UK Best Available Techniques for reducing emissions across several industrial sectors.

We want to know what you think about the proposed techniques, emission levels and performance levels so the final standards are practical and workable for operators.

The updated techniques aim to cut emissions, improve performance and set clear expectations for industrial sites to protect people and the environment.

The consultation covers the following industries:

• ferrous metals (galvanizing)
• ferrous metals (forming)
• textiles
• common waste gas management and treatment in the chemicals sector

We also welcome any evidence, data or examples that help us understand how the proposals may affect your sector or site.
