Consultation on the timing of the review of the data access and privacy framework

This consultation seeks views on a proposed change to the time of the review of the smart metering Data Access and Privacy Framework so that it would be completed in 2018 instead of by June 2016. The framework determines the levels of access that suppliers, network operators and third parties should have to energy consumption data from smart meters, for which purposes, and the choices that consumers have about this.
