Changes to Ofcom’s statutory duties and functions
We want your views on proposed changes to Ofcom’s duties and obligations
Detail
In Summer 2010, we analysed the Office of Communication’s (Ofcom’s) duties and powers so that we can:
- help reduce duplication and unnecessary spending
- increase efficiency, transparency and accountability
We want your views on the changes that our analysis identified, which are set out in this consultation document.
Annex A and B can be found at the end of the consultation document. Due to its length, we have published Annex C separately, which is a summary of existing legislation relevant to this consultation.
