Special Protection Area (SPA) feature amendments: Bowland Fells

The Bowland Fells Sites of Special Scientific Interest is already a SPA for its internationally important populations of breeding hen harrier and merlin. This consultation is seeking views on the scientific case for the inclusion of lesser black-backed gull as an additional feature of the SPA. We are also seeking views on the assessment of the likely economic and social impact of this proposal.
