The Secretary of State sought views as to whether the attached undertakings in lieu were sufficient to remedy, mitigate or prevent the public interest concerns in relation to media plurality raised by this merger.

For reasons explained in the consultation document below, the Secretary of State did not consult on any competition aspects of the proposed merger.
