A Bill to make provision about the advertising, marketing and promotion of food and drink products to children; and for connected purposes
Under the provisions of the Bill, it would be an offence for a person or organisation to advertise or promote to children food products (including drinks products) which are classified as ‘less healthy’. <br><br><strong>Key areas</strong><br><br><ul><li>Introduces a 9pm watershed for television advertising of unhealthy food</li><li>Introduces significant restrictions on non-broadcast marketing.</li></ul>
