A Bill to make requirements relating to the design and operation of school buses; to make provision about road safety training for drivers and users of school buses; to establish a School Bus Safety Council; and for connected purposes.
This Bill attempts to create a safety regime for school buses, with separate construction and use regulations. It would:

- make provision for training for pupils and drivers
- require the Secretary of State to make an annual report to Parliament on the issue
- create a new School Bus Safety Council to monitor the effects and enforcement of the Bill.
