A Bill to make provision for the establishment of minimum levels of recyclates in designated products and classes of product; to establish a scheme for the certification of designated products; and for connected purposes.
The Bill would allow the Government to specify that certain products must contain minimum levels of recycled material when put on sale in the UK. Its aim would be to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by creating more demand for recycled material.
